What Genesis Compute means
Genesis records provider-reported input, cached-input, output, and reasoning tokens without storing prompts in the billing ledger. Those measured events are converted into a dollar-denominated Genesis Compute balance using the current provider rate card plus the platform margin required to operate payments, infrastructure, support, and the permanent project runtime. Estimates, failed calls, duplicate events, and unknown-rate events remain visible but are not charged.
Included Compute resets with each paid month. Purchased or automatically reloaded Compute rolls forward while the membership remains active and has no cash value.
Automatic reload stays under your control
Automatic reload is off by default and requires a separate opt-in. A member may explicitly choose a $5 or $10 balance threshold, a $10, $20, or $50 reload, and a monthly reload cap. Genesis saves the consent version and time, stops at the cap, and pauses paid AI work if payment requires attention. There is no uncapped overage mode, and automatic reload can be turned off in Billing.
Renewal and cancellation
Membership renews automatically at the displayed monthly price until canceled. Before payment, Stripe Checkout displays the recurring price, billing frequency, renewal terms, tax treatment, and links to these terms. After activation, Genesis provides a retainable confirmation. Cancel online through account settings or the Stripe-hosted billing portal; access normally remains active through the paid period. If you cannot access the online control, email hi@genesis.build.
The Living System loop
Genesis is designed to keep improving from real use. Whenever a user reports a bug, asks for a feature, finds a more efficient path, hits excessive token friction, or Genesis discovers it lacks a capability needed to complete the task, the product records that signal in the Living System queue. That loop is permanent product behavior, not a temporary alpha form.
Existing invitations
No private-alpha account is silently converted or charged. Each invited tester must choose a paid plan and complete Stripe checkout before billing begins. Plan availability may vary by location, and an invitation is not a promise that every surface or connected capability is available.
